Private termination care

You deserve safe, respectful care.

Deciding to end a pregnancy can feel overwhelming. You will not be judged or pressured here. This short, private screening helps us understand whether this online pathway may be appropriate and connects you with a senior healthcare professional.

MyPregnancy has partnered with VDOC to offer this service. MyPregnancy guides you through the initial screening. If this pathway may be suitable, VDOC will securely receive your referral and help you book, pay for and attend a private consultation with one of the senior doctors selected for this service.

Qualified doctorsEvery doctor offered for this service is registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) and qualified to provide this care.
Legitimate careWe use a clinician-reviewed pathway—not unregistered providers or medicines from unknown sources.
Your choice and privacyYour information is shared securely with VDOC only to assess and arrange your care.
Step 1 of 5

First, check whether you need urgent care.

This service cannot safely assess emergencies. Tick anything that applies now or happened recently.

Step 2 of 5

How are your pregnancy dates known?

Pregnancy is dated from the first day of your last normal period. A recent ultrasound can provide a more accurate estimate.

Purpose of this service

MyPregnancy provides preliminary online screening and a secure referral to VDOC. It does not diagnose you, confirm that a pregnancy is inside the womb, guarantee treatment, or replace a doctor’s assessment.

Medical emergencies

This service is not an emergency service. If you develop severe or one-sided pain, heavy bleeding, fainting, severe dizziness, shoulder-tip pain, fever, trouble breathing or feel very unwell, seek immediate in-person emergency care.

Clinical review

A qualified healthcare professional will review your information and decide what assessment or care is clinically appropriate. You may need an examination, blood test, ultrasound or in-person care before treatment can be offered.

Your information

Arokiam is responsible for MyPregnancy and VDOC. Your identity, contact information, pregnancy dates, screening answers, consent record and IP address will be processed to create and manage your referral, support clinical care, protect the service and meet applicable record-keeping obligations. Access is limited to authorised personnel and providers involved in operating or delivering the service.

Accuracy and privacy

You must give information that is accurate to the best of your knowledge. We process health and identity information under our privacy obligations. We do not sell this information. Legal retention, access, correction and deletion rights remain subject to applicable healthcare and privacy law.

VDOC booking

After a referral is created, you will continue to VDOC to book, pay for and attend the consultation. A booking or payment does not guarantee a particular medicine or treatment. The clinician’s independent assessment determines appropriate care.
